Graycor provided construction services for the renovation of Concord Mills, a 1.4-million-square-foot shopping mall in the Charlotte area.

Phase I renovations consisted of a redesigned dining area, new lounge areas, interior and exterior wayfinding and enhanced charging stations. Scope of work included flooring, ceiling elements, smoke wall and ceiling painting, interior lighting, and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) coordination. Phase II included exterior work such as new decorative concrete, EIFS, signage, electrical work, rainscreen, glass canopies, lighting, landscaping and site utilities on the exterior of six entrances.

Due to the live environment, the mall renovation was phased to achieve the desired goals of the project with minimal disruption to business at the mall. Customer access into the mall and into tenants’ stores was maintained during business hours.
